STOP!! Dept of Agriculture and forced tagging of our horses
Here is information on the equine working group that is helping set up
the regulations on the NAIS. Congress has already made this a law.
Writing to a congressperson may influence the final set of regulations,
but probably will not cause withdrawal of the law. Best influences come
through writing NAIS folks and the equine working group.
Continued grassroots input is critical to the success of the NAIS.
Accordingly, USDA and its State and industry partners have established
NAIS working groups to provide recommendations and input as we move
forward with the system
